Could not contact the Accounting server. Contact your Admin.

From time to time, you may see this error messages on Printers across the Trust. This message is due to a momentary loss of connectivity between the printer and its central control application on the network. Most of the time it will connect again without intervention, but on rare occasion it will refuse to re-connect.

To resolve this issue, simply rebooting the printer by pressing the power button on the top of the printer, or should that fail, flicking the power switch on and off, on the socket the printer is plugged into will send the printer into its boot sequence after which the printer will re-connect and printing function is resumed.

Should issue still occur after a reboot, you can log the job to IT following the link on the Helpdesk main page.
